LA GARGANTA DEL DIABLO - THE DEVIL´ S THROAT
Join your guide on a fast boat to Punta Sur, the southernmost part of the island, for an incredible dive to la garganta or devil’s throat. This trip is for advanced divers as you descend a bit beyond 30m/100ft to a swim through that opens up into the deep blue depths of the ocean. It truly is a once in a lifetime dive. Hang around Punta Sur for the surface interval and enjoy a second, more shallow dive to better explore the reef.
REEF + WRECK
Although Cozumel is known for its huge, healthy reef system, that does not mean that is all there is! Resting at a maximum depth of about 80 feet is the beautiful wreck, the C-53 Felipe Xicotencatl. It, along with the marine life that now calls the wreck home and the occasional passing submarine, makes the dive one of kind. A beautiful reef dive followed by the wreck is a great way to change up your Cozumel diving vacation and experience something new!
EAGLE RAYS
Our favorite seasonal encounter here at Cozumel Adventures is a quick trip up north, outside of the marine park, to see our visiting eagle rays! They can be seen off the coast of Cozumel year round but much more frequently from November-March. This dive is for Advanced Open Water divers and above as you can expect strong currents and a depth of about 90 feet. Nitrox is recommended to maximize your time with these special creatures.
